Stax capital beginnings
This post represents my first career change in 7 years. Got an internship at small start up firm.
We focus on trading shares within unlisted stocks. A proven formula to find great undervalued stocks that can yield a good return.
A great team with like minded people who wants to succeed. My boss is a member of Mensa. Clearly a smart individual who is a great leader who wants everyone to do well. A selfless leader, all about unity and make sure all of us are on the same page.
Been here two weeks now. This job is purely commission based and it based on your own performance.
First week was all about building up confidence and getting over that cold calling obstacle. Being able to speak confidently and deliver the message clearly. All the basics and so on.
The second week was to improve my marketing skills as a seller over the phone. Sound more natural and be equal to the customer and less salesman type. Definitely a better approach. Gotten a little bit better on it.
Things to work on
- Block out white noise
- Have a positive mindset
- Continue to improve my phone calls
- Read reports to find key aspects for "triggers"
